New members UNUM executive board
On October 4 the UNUM executive board welcomed two new members. After having been involved with the growth of UNUM for a number of years, Eveline Jacobs, Michael Hajdasinski and Rene Bruijne recently stepped down. Therefore UNUM is happy to announce that Marieke van den Dool and Eveline Fetter will fill up the seats to help steer UNUM into the future.
In recent years, Eveline Jacobs, Michael Hajdasinski and Rene Bruijne have worked to further develop UNUM arbitration & mediation. With thanks for their efforts, we can note that good mediation rules have been developed, the website and digital file system have become even more accessible and a good begin has been made with the further marketing and promotion of UNUM.
New board members
Meanwhile, these three people have been succeeded on the board by Marieke van den Dool and Eveline Fetter. Marieke is a maritime lawyer in Rotterdam. She has worked at several law firms and in the corporate world in the past, and is now a partner at one of the well-known maritime niche firms. With Marieke, the legal knowledge in maritime and shipbuilding matters is broadened on the board.
Eveline is a specialist in arbitration law. After studying in Groningen, she started working at a leading law firm in Amsterdam’s Zuidas district. Her arrival will deepen the board’s specific knowledge of arbitration law.
Further development of UNUM arbitration and mediation
Together with incumbent board members Shula Stibbe, Idske van der Linden, Marcel Verhagen and Niels van der Noll, Marieke and Eveline will work to further develop UNUM arbitration and mediation nationally and internationally.
